Kiara Talancha is one of our Legal Assistants. Kiara grew up in Lima, Peru and moved to Florida when she was 8 years old. She attended Florida State University and earned her Bachelors' degrees in Sociology and International Affairs. During her time at FSU she worked as a student recruiter in the study abroad department, International Programs. She presented in classrooms and events, and spoke to students about the benefits of studying while being immersed in another culture. She did over 200 hours of community service through the co-ed service organization Alpha Phi Omega. After graduating, Kiara became an Immigration Specialist at FSU International Programs. After a year, she felt that she wanted to do more. She applied to law school and is currently in her third year at Barry University School of Law. Kiara is striving to be an immigration attorney to advocate for immigrant rights and to help the people in her community. During her free time, Kiara likes to go to the gym, go hiking, and spend time with her family.
