Meybelin Barrera is a bilingual Legal Assistant at Orlando Center for Justice. Meybelin recently graduated with her Juris Doctor from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law with the Sister Linda Bevilacqua award in recognition of her pro bono service. She received her Bachelor’s in Business Information Management with a specialization in Financial Operations from Seminole State College. Meybelin is also a graduate of the 2016-2017 Public Allies of Central Florida cohort completing her 10 month AmeriCorps Apprenticeship program where she was placed with a nonprofit organization where they helped address critical community needs such as youth development, education, workforce development, environmental issues, arts programming and community health. She is currently on the board for the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida (HBACF). In her free time, Meybelin likes to travel and go to Crossfit.
